FEES
The fees for services at "Turning Points" vary according to the type of service (individual therapy, hypnotherapy, marital therapy, family therapy, group therapy, etc.) and the length of each session. The fee for the Initial Assessment or Consultation (usually 90 min) is $150.00. The fee for a standard clinical hour (individual session) lasting 45-74 minutes is $95.00. If we agree in advance to have sessions shorter or longer than the standard 45-74 minute clinical hour, the fee will be based on the amount of time we are together. For example, if you have a 20-44 minute consultation, the fee will be $50.00. Conversely, if our session is extended beyond the standard therapy hour (for example 75-80 minutes), the fee is $135.00. Our Family Therapy fees are based on 75-80 min sessions, although insurance carriers generally do not reimburse for this service based on the time we are together, but rather this particular service.
Fees for group therapy or psycho-educational groups are also slightly adjusted. The fee for a 75-80 minute group therapy session is $50.00. Most psycho-educational groups offered by "Turning Points" consist of 10 structured sessions (2 hours per session). The base fee for this type of group is $45.00 per session, or $400.00 if paid in advance.
"Turning Points" accepts cash, checks, or money orders as forms of payment. We can also discuss options such as monthly billing. As money is frequently a therapeutic issue, we will work with you in any way we can.
